       Muladhara is first Chakra of human body among the 7 primary Chakra's. The word "Muladhara" means root and base.It is symbolized by a louts with four petals and the color red. Muladhara Chakra is located at the base of Spine, the Mantra for this Chakra is  "LAM".

         Although the functioning of all the Chakra is important, some believe that the Muladhar Chakra is the most important for health and overall wellbeing. It is believed that the actions and the memories of last life are stored in this region. It forms the borderline between the human and animal consciousness. It is also the foundation of every individual's future and the initiation of personality development. Vitality, vigor, and growth are the characteristics imparted in humans by this Chakra.
       however improper functioning can also result in laziness, and self- centredness. The four petals of the lotus represent the four emotions of the subconscious mind.

 ORGANS AND DISEASES ASSOCIATED WITH MULADHARA CHAKRA 

          The organs controlled by this Chakra are the reproductive organs, immune system, and the large intestine.

            An improperly working Muladhara Chakra can cause prostate problems, obesity, arthritis, varicose veins, lower back problems, hip problems, sore knees, and anorexia. The person may have poor bone structure, and a weak physical structure.

PROBLEMS CAUSED BY A CLOSED OR IMBALANCED MULADHARA CHAKRA

   Overactive Muladhra Chakra:
              Those with an overactive root Chakra tend to be angry, aggressive and annoyed, even a slightest irritation triggers these issues. The person starts bullying others and finds it difficult to obey authority. Greedy and materialistic people tend to have overactive Muladhara Chakra.

Underactive Muladhra Chakra:
             Those with underactive Muladhra Chakra feel insecure. The person loses the ability to stay grounded and gets disconnected from the world outside. They find it hard to complete daily tasks and stay organized. people,who are nervous, shy, or over anxious tend to have an underactive root Chakra.

 BENEFITS OF A BALANCED MULADAHRA CHAKRA

             The root Chakra delivers the life energy to all the other major and minor Chakras. When balanced a person is healthy and experience overall well being. He or She gets physically active and becomes confident.
